Welcome to Young SoulTales. By accessing our website (youngsoultales.com) or participating in our programs, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.



1. Definitions

  • “Young SoulTales,” “we,” “us,” “our” refers to Young SoulTales, operated by Preeti Toraskar

  • “Programs” refers to all retreats, workshops, camps, and events offered by Young SoulTales

  • “Participant” refers to the child or teenager enrolled in our programs

  • “Parent/Guardian” refers to the legal guardian responsible for the participant

  • “Services” refers to all offerings including programs, website content, and communications



2. Eligibility and Enrollment

2.1 Age Requirements
  • Roots & Wings programs: Children ages 6–11

  • BECOMING programs: Teenagers ages 13–17

  • Parent workshops: Adults 18 years and above

Age verification is required during registration. Young SoulTales reserves the right to refuse enrollment if age requirements are not met.

2.2 Registration Process

Registration requires:

  • Completion of registration form with accurate information

  • Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions

  • Payment of applicable fees

  • Submission of required health and consent forms

Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and acceptance of all required documentation.



3. Program Fees and Payment

3.1 Payment Terms
  • 50% advance payment required upon registration to secure your spot

  • Remaining 50% balance due 30 days before program start date

  • Payment accepted via bank transfer (details provided upon registration)

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes

3.2 What’s Included

Program fees typically include:

  • Accommodation at designated retreat location

  • All meals during the program (vegetarian, with dietary accommodations)

  • Program activities and materials

  • Facilitator and staff supervision

  • Insurance coverage during program duration

  • Daily photo/video updates to parents

  • Individual development report (where applicable)

3.3 What’s Not Included
  • Transportation to and from retreat location

  • Personal expenses

  • Medical expenses beyond basic first aid

  • Any items not explicitly mentioned as included



4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations by Parent/Guardian
  • More than 30 days before program: 50% refund of total amount paid

  • Less than 30 days before program: No refund

  • Alternative: Payment may be transferred to a future program (subject to availability) if requested more than 30 days in advance

4.2 Cancellations by Young SoulTales

In the rare event that Young SoulTales must cancel a program:

  • Full refund of all payments made

  • Option to transfer to an alternative date (if available)

  • We are not liable for any consequential costs (travel, accommodation bookings, etc.)

4.3 Participant Dismissal

Young SoulTales reserves the right to dismiss a participant if their behavior poses a risk or significantly disrupts the program. In such cases:

  • No refund will be provided

  • Parents/guardians must arrange immediate pickup

  • Safety of all participants is our priority



5. Health and Safety

5.1 Health Information Disclosure

Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant health information, including:

  • Medical conditions (physical and mental health)

  • Allergies (food, environmental, medication)

  • Current medications

  • Dietary requirements

  • Behavioral considerations

  • Recent illnesses or injuries

Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in dismissal without refund.

5.2 Medical Authorization

By enrolling your child, you authorize Young SoulTales to:

  • Administer basic first aid as needed

  • Seek emergency medical treatment if required

  • Contact you immediately in case of health concerns or emergencies

5.3 Illness Policy

Participants must be in good health to attend programs. If your child is unwell:

  • Inform us immediately

  • Do not send a sick child to the program

  • Alternative arrangements will be explored where possible



6. Participant Conduct

6.1 Expected Behavior

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat facilitators, staff, and fellow participants with respect

  • Follow safety guidelines and instructions

  • Participate with openness and willingness to learn

  • Care for property and natural environments

  • Maintain appropriate personal boundaries

6.2 Prohibited Items

Participants may not bring:

  • Mobile phones or electronic devices (unless permitted)

  • Valuable items or excessive cash

  • Weapons or dangerous objects

  • Alcohol, tobacco, or drugs

  • Items prohibited by the accommodation facility



7. Liability and Indemnification

7.1 Assumption of Risk

Participation involves inherent risks related to outdoor activities, physical movement, and group interactions. These risks are acknowledged upon enrollment.

7.2 Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Young SoulTales is not liable for injury, loss, or damage except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct

  • Young SoulTales is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings

7.3 Indemnification

Parents/guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless Young SoulTales from claims arising from program participation.



8. Intellectual Property

  • All website content, materials, and methodologies are owned by Young SoulTales

  • Content may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission



9. Photo and Video Consent

Separate consent is obtained during registration. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.



10. Communication

By registering, you consent to receive:

  • Program-related communications

  • Daily updates during retreats via WhatsApp

  • Post-program feedback and development reports

Marketing communications require separate consent and can be opted out anytime.



11. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be:

  • Addressed first through direct communication

  • Referred to mediation if unresolved

  • Governed by Indian law

  • Subject to courts in Pune, Maharashtra



12. Modifications

Young SoulTales may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use implies acceptance.



13. Severability

If any provision is found invalid, remaining provisions remain enforceable.
