In India, children learn academicsc but not themselves. Young SoulTales offers India’s first residential retreats for emotional literacy, self-trust, and becoming your true self.
At Young SoulTales, we believe the most important learning happens beyond classrooms—in the quiet moments of self-questioning. We create safe, pressure-free spaces where children slow down, connect inward, and learn what textbooks never teach: how to feel, trust themselves, and belong without losing who they are.
In India, children master academics and competitive exams but we forgot to teach them the most important subject: themselves.
Our education system excels at preparing children for exams, but emotional development is left to chance. Children learn quadratic equations before they learn to name what's happening in their chest when they're
anxious.
Emotions don't just live in thoughts but they live in the body. Anxiety tightens the chest. Fear clenches the stomach. But children spend their days sitting still, disconnected from the very place where feelings need to be felt and released.
When a child melts down, we say "use your words." But what if they don't have words yet? Emotional literacy isn't automatic, it's learned. And most children are navigating complex feelings with a vocabulary they were never given.
Children today are scheduled, optimized, and measured constantly. But in the rush to develop skills and achievements, we've forgotten to ask: Who are you becoming beneath all this performance?
Today’s children spend more time on screens than in nature—leaving them overstimulated, under-moved, emotionally dysregulated, and deeply disconnected. Play, movement, connection, balance.
By the time children reach adolescence, many have learned to perform rather than be. They've mastered the art of meeting expectations, but lost touch with who they actually are underneath.
Join a growing community of parents who are choosing a different path, one where emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and authentic connection matter as much as gradesand achievements.
We don’t instruct – we create conditions where children feel safe enough to explore, express, and discover.
Each Young SoulTales program is built around a critical developmental stage, the moments when children are forming core beliefs about who they are, whether they belong, and what they’re capable of. We don’t rush these moments. We hold space for them to unfold naturally.
Roots & Wings is a 4-day residential retreat where children experience belonging without performance. They learn that emotions aren’t problems to fix but they’re information to listen to. Through movement, nature, and expressive arts, they discover what it feels like to be seen, not measured.
Emotional Awareness · Self-trust · Body connection · Peer Belonging
BECOMING is a 7-day immersive retreat where teenagers step away from performance and into presence. Through deep conversations, movement practices, solo reflection time, and creative expression, they explore what’s underneath the roles they’ve learned to play.
Identity exploration · Emotional regulation · Authentic self-expression · Peer connection
This retreat is for parents who want to break that cycle. Through body-based practices, group reflection, and guided exercises, you’ll explore your own emotional patterns, triggers, and the ways you learned to relate to feelings as a childso you can respond with awareness, presence, and intention.
Emotional attunement · Co-regulation · Communication · Self-compassion
While most programs focus on fun or skills, Young SoulTales is designed around what matters for lasting growth – emotional safety, self-trust, and connection.

Every activity is grounded in developmental psychology (Erik Erikson's framework) and expressive movement therapy - not just entertainment.

We keep groups small so every child feels seen, heard, and safe enough to be themselves

Growth doesn't stop at the retreat. We equip parents with insights to continue supporting their child's emotional development at home.
Safe, nurturing spaces for children to explore their inner world.

Reflections from children, teens, and parents who experienced
emotional safety, growth, and connection.
Three weeks after the retreat, my daughter said something that stopped me: 'I used to think I wasn't good enough. Now I know I just needed to believe in myself.'
My son has always been the 'quiet one.' After BECOMING, he came home and actually talked to us. Not about the activities—about himself, his fears, his dreams.
I was skeptical—another expensive camp? But this was different. The facilitators genuinely cared about my child. She's been more confident, more expressive, more herself.
What I loved most was the parent guidance after. They didn't just 'fix' my child and send him back. They helped me understand how to continue what they started.
A glimpse into the meaningful moments we share—capturing connection, growth, joy, and discovery from our journeys together.
Founder & Lead Facilitator
For 18 years, I designed physical spaces for people to live in. Then I realized the spaces children needed most are the emotional and developmental ones which weren’t being created anywhere.
I stopped designing rooms and started creating experiences where children learn what schools never teach: how to understand themselves.
With a Bachelor’s in Psychology and currently completing my Master’s in Expressive Movement Therapy (graduating June 2026), Young SoulTales is built on developmental psychology (Erik Erikson’s framework), body-based practices, and the belief that emotions are an invitation to deeper conversations and information to listen.
