Every child carries a natural curiosity, imagination, and a quiet courage that grows when the right space is offered. This retreat creates those spaces through outdoor experiences, nature-led activities, and simple moments that help them discover what already lives within them.
Children at this age are energetic, forming their own interests, and learning to express themselves. Through guided play, sensory exploration, movement in nature, and hands-on creativity, we help them follow their curiosity, try new things, make friends, and understand that falling, trying again, and asking questions are all part of growing up.
Nothing here is rushed. We help, we listen, and we celebrate who they’re becoming.
For many children, this is also their first time staying away from home. So we hold a safe, warm, carefully supervised environment, where they can explore independently, while you feel completely at ease.

This is a screen-free, nurturing space just a few hours away. A place where your child can explore, and return home with stories, strength, and a little more trust in their own journey. The locations we’ve chosen are intentional; in case your little one feels homesick and needs to see their parents.We see what others miss. We hold, we don't push. We wait with them.

Young Soul Tales retreats cater to the age groups 6 years to 17 years. The Little Explorers’ Retreat is ideal for ages 6-10 years.
Yes. The retreat is designed specifically for ages 6-10. We keep small groups, and every activity is supervised by trained mentors. Safety, comfort, and gentle guidance are at the centre of the entire experience.
That’s natural at this age, and we’re prepared for it. Mentors are trained to hold emotional discomfort gently. Kids are given space, support, and reassurance. The location is just a few hours away in case a visit feels necessary.
Fun is important for kids in this age group, but everything we do has purpose. Through sensory play, nature walks, expressive arts, and group activities, children learn confidence, curiosity, communication, and independence without even realizing they’re learning.
There is no pressure to perform or participate in everything. We don’t single kids out or compare them. Support is gentle, and opting out is allowed. We make space for different personalities and paces.
Once enrolled, you’ll receive a checklist with clothing, comfortable footwear, a water bottle, any personal medication, and basic essentials. Nothing complicated, we like to keep it simple.

Safety is built into every part of the retreat. Surfing is led by certified instructors, and all activities are supervised by trained mentors. We have small groups and medical support on-call at all times.
Food is never an afterthought here. If your child has allergies or dietary needs, just let us know while registering. We’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well-fed so they can focus on exploring, and parents without worrying.
